Senior Combination Inspector Lincoln City Oregon

Job locations will be in Northwest Oregon in Lincoln City, Oregon areas. Daily travel is required.

Northwest Code Professionals has an opening for a Combination Inspector/ Plans Examiner II/III.   This position may lead to the position of Assistant Building Official after an 18-month interim training period for the right candidate.

Requirements: The successful candidate will enforce the Statewide Building Code and adopted specialty codes and standards through inspection of all types of buildings; communicate code requirements to the public, contractors, and local officials; and investigate cases of non-compliance and report appropriately 

Minimum Requirements:  

1. Candidate must be certified in Oregon for both Commercial and Residential Structural and Mechanical, Residential Plan Review. Residential Plumbing, SPI and Electrical, SEI highly desired and required for top pay scale start.
2. Minimum 4 years’ experience in Commercial and Residential Field Inspection as an Oregon certified professional. (Less experienced individual may be considered at base pay scale)
3. Applicant must hold the Oregon Inspector Certification (OIC).
4. Candidate must obtain the Oregon BCD SRI License for third party employees within 30 days of hire. COmpany wiill reimburse cost. 
5. Proficiency in computer applications. We will train in the use of Blue Beam Review but basic computer skills and knowledge are critical, Accella experience needed.
6. Outstanding people skills and communication skills are essential.
7. Will provide daily inspection and light Plan Review work in Lincoln City Oregon and other duties within NW Oregon and locations as assigned.

Salary: Salary is dependent upon experience, certifications and proficiency. There may also be an opportunity for bonuses based on performance in addition to employee’s monthly salary. We also provide an excellent benefits package.
