NWCP is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Combination Building Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing building plans, inspecting construction sites, ensuring compliance with building codes, ordinances, and regulations, and ensuring the safety and structural integrity of buildings and structures. This role requires a high level of technical knowledge, an eye for detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a complete understanding of the model codes and state rules, and will be committed to ensuring projects meet minimum safety, codes and standards. If you have served as a Combination Building Inspector for local government, drop the red tape, covid mandates, DEI equity unfairness, timeclocks, and consider this opportunity to join the NWCP family.
Be part of a team driven to serve the public, with the intent of assisting our customers with integrity and fairness. Technical skills are essential but as importantly, we seek those with fantastic soft skills and who know the value of good communication and collaboration with those they work with and the communities serve. If you're looking to make a difference in a thriving community, be part of an innovative and dynamic team of professionals, and be valued for your skills, come join the pros! If you desire a work environment that is fair, fun and flexible, where you have a voice and can contribute to the quality and safety of structures in your community then this could be the perfect job for you. The NWCP Team operates as a collaborative team led by the Chief Building Official. Inspectors play a critical role in guiding the success of development by providing professional project inspections and educating the public. NWCP is often seen as the face of local government and may be the only experience our customers have with City staff. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to achieving both code compliance and a quality customer experience. They should possess good communication skills, and inspection work, and desire the opportunity to grow in their profession. Please review the job details below, and consider joining our Team! If you share our common core values of freedom, and equity based on performance and not DEI program guidelines, integrity, respect, customer service, teamwork, and problem-solving then this is the team for you.
